Bright yellow covers show quite a bit of surface soiling Small ink spot at base of front cover and larger one at base of back cover does not extend past the surface of the covers. Front cover of cover is creased front and back a couple marks here and there in contents but none affect the wonderful color pictures on "linen Like" heavy paper.

Stated first edition, Jacket is generally edge worn and split about 3 inches up from bottom on front spine edge, top of spine has a large chip down about 2 inches affecting title. fair size chip missing from bottom of rear panel also. Long closed tear at fold of back panel, and some stains here and there. Still front cover has a great picture of horseman reining up at the edge of a cliff.

Inside front cover is "With appreciation of your interest Wilson Clough" there are a couple of typos in the book that have been hand corrected by Clough. It appears to be the same ink as the inscription. Clough was a long time professor at the university of Wyoming.
