DJ has light shelf-wear present to the DJ extremities (light soil soil present to the edges of the DJ) present. Text is clean and free of marks, binding tight and solid, boards very lightly rubbed and worn. World renowned makeup artist Francois Nars started photographing just two years ago. Deciding to art direct his own marketing campaign, Nars started casting and shooting models. The results were smashing: soon ads appeared in W, Harpers Bazaar, and Allure, featuring stunning full-frame images of strikingly elegant women, in very untraditional casting, showcasing his new, blazing hot NARS line of cosmetics. E-139: Forum Gallery, New York. Very Good in Very Good dust jacket. 2003. Hardcover. Hardcover. 4to. Forum Gallery, New York. 2003. 256 pgs. Illustrated. DJ has light shelf-wear present to the DJ extremities. Previous owner's mark on the FFEP. Text is clean and free of marks, binding tight and solid, boards clean with no wear present. The dramatic, expressionist work of Berlin-based artist Xenia Hausner intelligently captures the personal and social conflicts of both the artist and her subjects. With unflinching directness, she engages the viewer using radical color and aggressive brushstrokes. As we are drawn into Hausner's paintings, her characters reveal themselves with an abandon akin to the artist's bold and daring technique. Heart Matters showcases work that combines the energetic and unsettling style of such German artists as Otto Dix and Max Beckman with the warmth and subjective immediacy of figurative art. Description:
E-23: Arno Press. Very Good. 1978. Hardcover. Hardcover. 8vo. Arno Press. 1978. 183 pgs. Bound in cloth with gilt titles present to the spine. Boards have wear present to the extremities of the boards. No ownership marks present. Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. This story is similar to "the War of the Worlds" by H. G. Welles in a sense that Earth dwellers here fight against strange creatures. Unlike "the War of the Worlds", however, it is not mentioned anywhere where Xepehuz came from. Nevertheless, if to take into account that the story was written in 1896, it is amazing how the author could foresee all those technological inventions, because here Xepehuz resemble structures with a cybernetic equipment with a crystal-like structure that can project a lazar and incinerate other objects at a distance. E-23; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
