Cloth faded and a little tanned and spotting, light edge wear, corners bumped, interior pages lightly tanned, small marks on front free end paper. Dust jacket green with yellow lettering and portrait. Jacket is tattered at edges, faded at spine, taped together at spine both sides, small tears. Average, measures 6 x 9 inches.

Multiple copies of the magazine "The Youth's Companion" dating from 1914 through 1918. bound in a large wrapper with two studded clips holding issues. A few of the magazines have their color covers but most do not. There is a label on the front inner board that states that these copies contain the popular serial story "Crystal Hunters" by Frank Little Pollock. Lots of black and white illustrations and some color advertisements. Gilt titles on front cover. Some spotting of outer wrapper with some edge wear and small holes in back along spine edge, cracks and wrinkles in paper label about Pollock serial, interior pages bright and mostly clean with a little tanning along edges, small corner tear in one page at bottom, a few corner creases, binding tight.
