These year books are heavily annotated by the owner's friends and teachers -- with such encouraging sayings as "You are a good girl. Stick with it!"; and "Roses are red | Violets are blue | You are sweet | and cute too"; and reminiscences: "To a real cute & sweet girl. Always remember the swell time we had a Nannette's slumber party" or (perhaps) suggestively, "When you are old | and have gray hair | Remember the nights | at the Open Air" (which we surmise to be a drive-in movie theater).~~True period pieces -- high school aged boomers in the first half of the 1950's.
