New Haven: Yale University, 1899 - 1904. Pictorial wrappers, mostly tied. Condition is very good, with some repairs to the spine of the 1904 issues, some slight chipping to overhanging wrappers. The issues in this group: Vol. XXXVI, No. 2 (November 4, 1899); Vol. XXXVI, No. 4 (December 2, 1899); Vol. XXXVI, No. 5 (December 16, 1899); Vol. XXXVI, No. 12 (April 21, 1900); Vol. XL, No. 11 (April 23, 1904 - two copies). Short fiction and poetry, many nice ads from New Haven.

New Haven: Price, Lee & Adkins, 1894. First edition.. anticat16. 12mo. Blue buckram designed and lettered in gilt. beveled edges, top edge gilt. Frontispiece & several plates, as well as small vignette illustrations. First signature starting, popped out a bit, trifling shelf wear, a little rubbing to back cover, otherwise a nice bright copy. A pleasant little book. The illustrations are from drawings, engravings and photographs, by at least 10 different contributors.

London: Harper/Collins, (1997). First edition.. Red boards, spine lettered in gilt. A fine copy in a dust jacket with just a trace of wear to corners and edges. Basically, an as-new copy. The continuing adventures of Aubrey and Maturin.

Zaria: Department of Education, 1976.. Grey-blue wrappers, taped spine. 130pp. printed on rectos only. Folding map at rear. Several small illustrations within the text. An ALS from the author dated 1977 is laid in. A little wear to edges, some old stains along the spine of the first few leaves, a very good copy. A detailed study of music in this region of Nigeria.

[Vancouver]: Pulp Press, [1973]. . A poster/broadside, one sheet measuring 9 x 14 inches. Some horizontal folds, clean & very good. A poster for the Yevtushenko readings at UBC and the Vancouver Art Gallery on Dec. 3, 1973.

London Printing and Publishing Company, [c.1851].. An engraved plan on wove paper, uncoloured. Decorative border and nine small vignettes. Image size is 32cm x 25cm. One vertical fold as issued, a clean very good copy. Engraved & drawn by H. Winkles and J. Rapkin for R. Montgomery Martin's Illustrated Atlas. Tallis's town-plan of York, in North Yorkshire, England. This copy of the variety bearing only the imprint of The London Printing and Publishing Company.

Chicago: Thos. W. Jackson Publishing Company, 1946. Revised edition.. Stiff color pictorial wrappers, text stapled, lettered in red on front cover. Many cartoon illustrations. Light edge wear, but a very nice, clean copy.

Cleveland: Simmons & Glenn, [c.1910]. A small 4pg. booklet in self-wrappers. Some wear to the spine, one crease, very good condition. This is addressed "To The Young Republican Voters of Cuyahoga County" and the text is basically a recruitment for this organization. They propose to merge what was formerly the "First Voters" Club into the Young Men's Republican League. Dues would be One Dollar per year. The rear contains a list of officers, the President being Herman W. Grannis. Scarce - no copy recorded anywhere that we can locate.

London: Stanley Paul, [1910]. First edition, possibly a cheap issue. Red cloth, front cover designed in blind, spine and front cover lettered in gilt. 32-page publishers catalogue at rear, dated 1910. A bit of scuffing to edges and corners, ownership name on front endpaper, a bright very good copy. This may be the six-shilling edition, which is in the ads at the rear.

This is a group of seven issues of The Youth's Companion, published in Boston 1901 - 1905. All have contributions by Jack London. All are in original wrappers, stapled, and once folded, in half. The staples have rusted, some issues have splitting at the folds, condition is generally quite nice.
