About This Item
Norfolk, Conneticut: New Directions Nice copy in its first printing. Quarter bound in red over black with red spine lightly sunned. Neat signature of former owner on front endpaper but no other markings. Tight and square. Light discoloring at spine ends where red faded. Price intact jacket is a handsome one with photo of sculpted angel above an opened letter. Jacket has relatively light wear for its age and book written in the 1780's was way ahead of its time. It is also a compelling story, told with wit and subtle observation of fashionable Parisians of the time. Translated by Richard Aldington. In mylar. . First Thus. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good to Very Good Plus. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
