Charleston, 1857-1858. 8vo, publisher's brown cloth, 307 + 342pp. A scarce collection, notable for its vocabulary of the Catawba (Pilling 2287), as well as an article on the capture of Henry Laurens and various other articles on the state's early history. This set deaccessioned from a state historical socity with normal marks, but is otherwise very good with bright contents and some rubbing to cloth. Remains quite sound and usable.
