Pasadena: The Untide Press, 1948. 1st edition, original illustrated paperwraps (as issued). Cover illustration by Lee Mullican. A combination of poetry and prose, published by The Untide Press, edited and printed by William Eshelman, Tom Polk Miller, Kemper Nomland, Jr., and Kermit Sheets. The Untide Press was founded in 1943 as an attempt to bring poetry to the public in an inexpensive but attractive format. It was founded by William Everson, and others, in a camp of conscientious objectors in Waldport, Oregon. The present offering is the fifth and final issue of this fine arts magazine. Minimal edgeware, else a remarkably fine copy. Uncommon.
