"This book is designed to make readily available virtually all the material relating to England's export trade in the great series of Enrolled Customs Accounts, from their beginning in the late thirteenth century down tot he mid-sixteenth century. These accounts have no parallele elsewhere in Europe. They are basic for the study of English commercial history, but thought they have been known to and used by various historians, a comphrenesive survey of these difficult records has until now been lacking. Now all the data for wool and cloth, representing 90 per cent or more of England's exports, are set in graphs and tables, with a critical introduction on the character and value of the sources". Book about . Time Period 13th Century, 14th Century, 15th Century & 16th Century. Locale: England. (History--England, Commerce, Middle Ages, Trade and Commerce, Wool).
