Oxford: Oxford at the Clarendon Press 1927, 1st edition. (Hardcover) 339pp. Very good, no dust jacket. Red cloth with gilt lettering and crested spine. The spine is lightly cocked and faded, a pencil mark on the front cover, a crack starting in the text block at p. XVI and there are two previous owner's names on the front free endpaper. "The Property Acts have created a serious problem for teachers and students of the land law. Whether or not they result in the long run in a simplification of this branch of the law, their immediate result is to increase the burden of both teachers and students. Several reasons make it imperative that, for a very considerable time, the teacher shall teach, and that the students shall learn, both the old law and the new" - from the preface. Book about Property Acts. Time Period 16th Century, 17th Century & Medieval. (Law, Land Law, Law, Legal Cases, Property).
