About This Item
This cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church served as first president of the Prefecture for the Economic Affairs of the Holy See, among other high posts, and in 1968 was named Vicar General of Rome, an office he served until his death. Large and bold signature in blue ballpoint on a fine heavy stock 5" X 3" card, dated by him 1 October 1968 at upper right. With original transmittal envelope. A superb example penned months after being named to the post for which he is best remembered.
