About This Item
This noted pitcher is considered one of the 100 greatest players of all time; he debuted with the Washington Senators (1939, 1941-44, 1946-48) and also played for the Cleveland Indians (1949-57) and Chicago White Sox (1958-62); in 1972 he was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Large, bold signature in red fineline on a heavy stock 5" X 3" card, n.p., n.y. Fine. With original transmittal envelope (postally cancelled on 11 May 1974). Comes with a fine 1983 baseball card featuring a half-length artist's rendering of Wynn in Cleveland Indians uniform -- part of the Donruss "Hall of Fame Heroes" series.
