About This Item
This American missionary spent much of his life in India, and authored works such as "How to Be a Transformed Person" (1951). TLS, 1p, 6" X 9½", Clifton Springs, NY, 1940 December 17. Addressed to John Leiser. Very good. A couple of minor paper clip rust marks, else fine. Comments on the Ashram Movement and a budding mystic movement in New York begun by Dr. J. Holme Smith. "...the Ashram Movement in America is in such an embryonic state that it is difficult to see which one is going to be worth while.
