The two manuscripts, at one time, comprised a single manuscript - Caxton manuscript of 1480, but the fortunes of time parted them.The Phillipps ( Sir John Phillipps copy books 1-9)  was re-discovered in 1964.The Pepys (books 10-15)reproduces the manuscript which was left to Magdalene College by Samuel Pepys in his will dated 1703. The pair of long separated manuscripts were, at long last,  re-united in this striking presentation.Folio (12" x 8.25").
