Archive of five scripts from the 1939 film, including a Temporary Draft script and four post-production scripts: 1939 One Line Continuity for the 1936 Swedish version, Cutting Continuity for a re-release (October 20, 1947), and two drafts, release and re-release, of the Dialogue Continuity (September 22, 1939 and October 20, 1947, respectively).
Nominated for two Academy Awards: Best Cinematography and Best Musical Score. A richly produced American remake of the Swedish film by Gustav Molander, with Ingrid Bergman-new to the American studios at that time-recreating her role. A famed concert violinist (Leslie Howard) who is married with children falls in love with a young pianist (Bergman) and begins an affair with her.

Pale blue titled wrappers, rubber stamped TEMPORARY on the front wrapper, dated March 15, 1939, with credits for screenwriter John van Druten. Distribution page present, with receipt intact. 84 leaves, mimeograph duplication. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Near Fine bound with two gold brads.
