Good-guy Max (Tom Ewell) and mooch Gus (Mickey Rooney) are horse-race loving pals whose lives are going nowhere. Desperate, they turn to bank robbery and actually pull it off. Using the money to buy a race horse, their bookie pal Rocky (Mickey Shaughnessy) wants in. When they loose their bank roll after their horse is disqualified, they figured they'd rob a bank again.
Blue titled wrappers, noted as First Draft on the front wrapper, and production No. 767, dated October 9, 1957. Distribution page present, with receipt removed. Title page present, dated October 9, 1957, noted as First Draft, with credits for screenwriter Sydney Boehm. 124 leaves, with last page of text numbered 122. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Very Good, bound internally with three gold brads.
