Based on Theroux's 1973 novel. Jack (Gazzara) is an entrepreneurial pimp in Singapore who dreams of operating his own brothel. Set against the backdrop of a waning Vietnam War, with the CIA offering Jack the opportunity to be the go-to man for US soldiers in need of rest and relaxation.
