Advertised as Complete and Unabridged. There are Five Ultra Microgroove 16 RPM Talking Book
Phonograph Records. "Revolutionary new 16 rpm records may be played on any 33 1/3 rpm phonograph. "Book" speed reducing Adaptor available for thet purpose. Place Adaptor on Turntable and play as any another other record."

The five records are placed in 5 sleevea in the cardboard pictorial record album that has 4 double-pages. Title page, page about Basil Rathbone, then two double-page spreads, last double pg spread is blank. Each side of the sleeve lists the record's title and the side of the record (A or B)
Back cover has the Table of Contents. The pictorial cardboard album spine has been neatly repaired with archival glue. Edge and corner rub, brown stain drops on 4 pgs at very top, dust soiling to covers, last sleeve has also been neatly repaired at top edge with archival glue. All other sleeves are in good shape as are the five records. Records are VG+. Album is Good+ . Scarce Sherlock Holmes Ephemeral Item



Synopsis

The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes is a collection of twelve stories by Arthur Conan Doyle, featuring his famous detective and illustrated by Sidney Paget. These are the first of the Sherlock Holmes short stories, originally published as single stories in the Strand Magazine from July 1891 to June 1892. The book was published in England on October 14 1892 by George Newnes Ltd and in a US Edition on October 15 by Harper. The initial combined print run was 14,500 copies.
