Hong Kong: United French Film, 1954. Vintage film pressbook featuring French films for the year 1954. Printed in Hong Kong by the United French Film distribution company in Paris, with lavish faux suede maroon wrapper, gilt titles, and all leaves with a mounted color still photograph. Each leaf presents a different film, a French medal and ribbon border crediting other UFF films ("Adorable Creatures," "Fanfan la Tulipe," "Paris... Paris," "Women of Paris," "Daughters of Destiny," and "Human Torpedoes"), and French titles with English credits. Curious French ephemera, a collection promoting French film for English audiences, produced and distributed by Japanese printers.

Films include (in order of appearance) "Lucrece Borgia" (1953, Christian-Jaque), "Si Versailles m'etait conte" (1954, Sasha Guitry), "Le Grand Jeu" crediting Lollobrigida as "Gino Lollobridiga" (1954, Robert Siodmak), "Les Revoltes de Lomanach" (1954, Richard Pottier), "Nana" (1955, Christian-Jaque), "The Seven Deadly Sins" (1952, Y. Allegret, C. Autant-Lara, R. Rossellini, et al.), and "Public Enemy No. 1" (1953, Henri Verneuil)."

8.5 x 11.75 inches, saddle-stapled card stock, 8 leaves, 7 mounted 5 x 5 inch photographs. Very Good plus, with light toning, rubbing, and slight waviness.
