This listing is for a large and breathtaking Apollo 9 Full-Crew signed (Scott, McDivitt, Schweickart) 16x20 photo professionally authenticated by JSA. It would be hard to exaggerate how scarce this is. Apollo 9 was the first mission to qualify a Lunar Module (LM) for flight and docking, thus paving the way for an eventual Apollo 11 moon landing mission. This photo was taken from a docked LM and shows Dave Scott performing a stand-up EVA from the hatch of the Command Module. The three signatures are strikingly large and bold and beautifully written; and, critically, have been authenticated by one of the best in the business, James Spence Authenticators (JSA). Their full Letter of Authenticity accompanies the photo; the accompanying COA sticker was placed on the letter, not the photo. The photo is printed on Kodak professional paper and the borders are bright white (but hard to photograph). Signed limited edition. Matching set, both volumes #1276 of 1500. Signed "Dwight D. Eisenhower" on tipped in blank following colophon page. Mandate for Change is copyright dated 1963 and stated Limited Edition, Waging Peace is copyright dated 1965 and stated First Edition.Both books are in Near Fine condition, with only visible fault some very light foxing beginning on top of page edges near spines of both volumes.Both slipcase corners lightly bumped/worn. Top of Mandate for Change slipcase has prior price ($50) in marker still visible under block of black marker, and one of the back corner edges was previously taped, tape no longer present, residue yellowed, light cracking of the corner seems to be what prompted the taping. Gift inscription on front endpaper of both volumes (see photos). Both volumes in original glassine jackets. Waging Peace jacket has very light spotting, but completely intact. This is a 128-page booklet-style softcover in very good condition, published by Wild & Wooley (Australia) in 1982 and thus a true 1st edition. Please carefully examine my photos: the cover remains strikingly appealing although close examination reveals several creases notably along the right side. The interior is clean and bright and still looks pretty much unblemished. Overall, in my opinion, remarkable condition for a 41 year old softcover. Ringo signed on page 8 just above a photo of the band; please note how extremely difficult it is to find a Ringo autograph WITH HIS FULL NAME (ie. "Starr" is fully spelled out).
