NY: McDowell, Obolensky, 1959. 8vo. 305 pp. Original green cloth, silver-stamped title on spine, printed dust jacket. Very good copy. First edition. Inscribed by the author to his biographer Stuart Wright. The dust jacket is a trial issue not mentioned in Wright's bibliography; it is a quarter inch taller than the book and only the front and spine panels are printed (the rear panel and flaps remain white).
