Based on the novel by Ernest Hemingway, published posthumously in 1970, following three episodes in the life of a stoic, aging artist living in the British-controlled Bahamas.

Set in the Bahamas, shot on location in Kaua'i, Hawaii.

Green generic Paramount wrappers with a die-cut title window in the British style. Title page present, dated September 10, 1975, noted as FINAL DRAFT, with credits for screenwriter Denne Bart Petitclerc. 130 leaves, with last page of text numbered 129. Xerographic duplication, rectos only. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Near Fine, bound internally with two gold brads.

Synopsis

Islands in the Stream was published in 1970, nine years after Hemingway's death. Thomas Hudon is an painter and adventurer in the 1930s, and this tale documents his voyages from Bimini to antisubmarine action in Cuba and beyond.
