True FIRST AMERICAN EDITION (6th impression) from 1964 of the author's third book, orig. published in London the previous year. Hardcover book has a red quarter cloth-wrapped spine with brown paper covering remaining boards. Condition is VG+: very clean, binding tight & square, pages moderately tanned with scattered foxing. Gift inscription in pen dated 1964 to ffep, else unmarked. Moderate rubbing to extremities, bumped corners, especially along lower edges. The unclipped DJ is bright with no fading, but downgraded to Good+ due to many small chips & tears, rubbing to extremities. Protected now in new mylar cover Free!
