About This Item
New York: Atheneum, 1971. First Edition. Very Good. First edition stated, first printing. Near Fine, in a Very Good dust jacket with price of $5.95 intact, and with no Newbery Medal present. Light lean to spine. Dust jacket shows light toning, and two short tears to the top of the front panel (1 inch and 1/4 inch long), with some associated creasing. The front flap is creased along the edge, and has a rubber stamp at the bottom reading "Material Center Central Office May 5 71". A rather nice copy of this difficult to obtain Newbery medal winner.
