About This Item
Waco, Texas : Word Records. Very Good Vinyl Record/Very Good Record Sleeve. 331/3 RPM LP VINYL RECORD. RARE LP RECORD, WORD W-3358. A woman named Gert Behanna, very wealthy. and very bored, came to know Christ late in life. The new Gert was totally changed. Gert Behanna became an evangelist, wrote her autobiography, The Late Liz, which sold very well (and which was made into a movie in the 1970's) After beating alcoholism and finding God , she developed a national ministry of evangelism and healing. WHO IS THE ALCOHOLIC? is a recording of Behanna at her best. Deadly serious, knowledgeable about her subject, she hits hard at the indulgence of many an alcoholic's family... she speaks plainly, yet always compassionately, concerning the desperate need which the alcoholic has to stand alone. Gert's view of the alcoholic is personal, and multi-dimensional: she is a serious student of America's number one social problem, and no sentimental legalizer, but a wise, experienced alcoholic who found the way out. Notes on Record condition: Very good means the Lp has some light wear and/or some surface noise, but plays well. the original cover/sleeve has some discoloring at edges, but is clean and solid, with a multi-colored design on front, and photo of Gert Behanna, with liner notes, on rear. .
