Two different programs from the 1961 poetry festival hosted by The Poetry Book Society Limited and held at The Mermaid Theatre in London with a statement by director John Wain. The first program gives an overview of the week's events, the festival patrons, and a list of poets, musicians, actors, and critics who are to perform. The second is a detailed list of each day's event and breakdown of performances. Those who made appearances included Sylvia Plath, Ted Hughes, Thomas Blackburn, Louis MacNiece, Ralph Richardson, Anthony Thwaite, among many others.
