London, UK: W R Chambers. Hardcover. Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Undated (circa 1920s). 254pp, 16 black and white plates Inc. frontispiece). Beige cloth-covered boards with brown titles to front and spine. 12mo. Overall discolouration and small marks to spine and board. Spine rubbed and rounded at both ends. Corners rubbed and rounded with light fraying to top and fore edges. Wear and stains to boards. Text block edges moderately tanned. Bookseller's label to front pastedown. Free endpapers and first/last pages tanned. Internally pages are age toned, intact, tight and not marred by notes or markings. This volume gives clear details of the materials needed, the utensils used and proven recipes for making candies and bonbons.
