An excellent first edition copy of this miscellaneous of prose writings by the Welsh author Dylan Thomas. The first edition of this work by Welsh author Dylan Thomas. Dylan Thomas is mostly known for his poetry; due to his tragic death at the age thirty nine few have discovered his talent for prose writing. This volume comprises twenty five stories, autobiographical sketches and essays by the author. Included in this volume are stories such as 'A Visit to America,' 'A Story' (the account of a small boy's fabulous outing,) and 'A Child's Christmas in Wales,' which he recorder shortly before his death. In the original, price clipped dustwrapper. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally excellent with only minor shelfwear and a slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine. The dustwrapper is price clipped and smart with slight shelfwear and edge wear and minor chipping throughout. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Near Fine
