THIS COPY HAS A FINE 3/4 PAGE WATERCOLOR DRAWING BY BIRCH. The wonderful image shows a boy being given a book by a witch, with two elves and a duck watching. Signed by Birch with a warm presentation, dated 1935. A super book.

Cracked inner spine.Inscribed by the illustrator Reginald Birch with a drawing of a woman with an angle playing instrument. The illustration has creases and some waves but not directly on the illustration but some on the inscription. Color of illustration has bled through to the back of the page.
