About This Item
Garden City: Doubleday, Doran / Junior Books, 1931. First Edition . Hardcover. Collectible; VG. George Shanks. 1st edition [stated, logo of JR on copyright page], 8vo, green cloth with yellow illustrations and lettering, yellow top edge, illustrated endpapers, 240 pages, color frontispiece, ten b/w illustrations. VERY GOOD / no jacket: slight cover wear, light rubbing to spine extremities, spine is slightly toned, faint foxing to first and last few pages, owner name on front endpaper, otherwise internally very clean and tight. A rare children's book, unfortunately without the even more rarely seen dust jacket...this is a nice copy.
