First printing with 1931 date on title page and 1930 date on copyright page. A solid clean very good copy in a good plus price intact dustwrapper with chipping to edges and fairly heavy creases to rear panel. Quite scarce in any dustwrapper.

New York: Atheneum, 1984. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. First edition. The third and final book written in collaboration by these two authors. A clean near fine example in near fine price intact dustwrapper.

London: Cape Goliard, 1969. First Edition. Paperback. Near Fine. Single sheet printed on rag paper. A poem by Berrigan with illustration by Jim Dine. This is number 14 of only 60 copies specially SIGNED by Berrigan and Dine. Measures 11.5" by 15" tall. Near fine copy. Signed by Author.

San Francisco: Pneumatic Press, 1994. First Edition. Paperback. Fine/No. Issue number two of this eclectic magazine featuring photographs, found objects, poems, drawings and other inserts. One of only two hundred copies. Fine condition. Highest recommendation.

Guenrouet, France: Pre Nian Editions, 2005. First Edition. Loose Sheets. Near Fine/No. Attractive poet / artist book collaboration between Ferlinghetti and Bracaval. Translation provided by Eve Lerner. Loose leaves laid into wrapper and issued in a hand-made box designed by Jeanne Frere. Measures 37 x 39 cm. The edition was limited to only 35 copies plus 10 A. C., numbered and SIGNED by both the poet and the artist. A fine, as-new copy. Destined to be a real "stopper" for Ferlinghetti collectors. The delicate paper label on the front panel of the box has a tear, else this item is in fine condition.

Artarmon, Australia: Ram's Horn Music, 1975. First edition. Paperback. Near Fine. Scarce Dylan ephemera. Single sheet, folded once to form a four page booklet. Great cover photograph of Reuben "Hurricane" Carter in boxing gloves. Brief handwritten note on rear page in an unknown hand, else fine condition. Measures just over 8.5 x 11". Includes music and text.

Davis, CA: Privately Printed, 1970. First edition. Paperback. Fine. Single sheet exhibition flyer. Completely hand-printed and designed by artist George Herms for an exhibition of his work at the University of California, Davis campus. Flyer announces a series of events including a poetry reading by beat poet Michael McClure, a film entitled Lightwork One by Marilynne Mason and special guest poet Robert Duncan. Flyer measures 8.5 x 11". Folded once for mailing. Comes in original hand-addressed envelope mailed to publisher John Martin and his wife Barbara. Flyer undated, but datestamp on envelope is 1970. Nice piece of beat-era ephemera.

No Place: Arif Press, 1973. First edition. Paperback. Fine. 4to. Limited edition of this poetry volume SIGNED by McClure and INSCRIBED by Wesley Tanner who provides a full page original water-color drawing. One of only thirty copies (this one hand-labeled "Artist Copy") and inscribed by Tanner to Robert Baldock. Fine condition in silk string-tied wrappers. One of the scarcer McClure or Tanner items one is likely to find.

New York: Gothic Blimp Works, 1969. First edition. Paperback. Good +. Folio. Oversized newspaper format. Underground comic featuring early artwork by R. Crumb who provides the lurid cover to this issue. Also includes work by Bode, Spiegelman and more. A good copy with some expected toning to the paper and edgewear.

San Francisco: Lone Ranger Biology Press, 1968. First edition. Paperback. Near Fine. 8vo. Unpaginated. Early, if not first, book of poems by Deutsch and likely the first book published by this press. Photos by John Fox. Collage by Douglas Blazek. Lettering by Robert (R.) Crumb. Printing by Charles Plymell. A bright near fine example of this scarce title.

Santa Cruz: Hsien Taoist Monastery, 1982. First edition. Paperback. Very Good. Sold here as a collection are thirteen publications dealing with the teachings of contemporary Hsien Taoism. All were published by the Hsien Taoist Monastery in Santa Cruz, California from the period 1982 - 1986. All are first printings unless otherwise noted. All are in very good condition and are in stapled wrappered format. They include: The Inward Journey Volume 1 Number 1, Number 2, Number 3, Volume 2 Number 4 and #5, Volume 3 Number 1, The White Iris Volume III Number V, Volume IV Number !, The Healing Journey Volume 2 Number 5, Dragon-Fly Sparrow-Song (second printing from 1983), and Alpha Stress Reduction Training. All of these publications seemed to have a fairly limited print run and are now quite hard to locate.

Ottawa: National Gallery of Canada, 1975. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good +/good +. Large hardbound quarto in dustwrapper. Judd's catalogue raisonne with 355 works made between 1 August 1960 when he moved his studio at 53 East 19th Street and 1 July 1974. Essay by Roberta Smith. Curated by Brydon Smith. Text in English and French. 320 pp. Profusely illustrated. Book has a few small age spots to page edges else a near fine copy in the scarce red cloth binding. The matching dustwrapper has a tape mend, some small wear at edges and shows some of the typical toning to spine color. Overall the wrapper is in good to very good condition. This copy stands out for two reasons: the book has been INSCRIBED BY JUDD and dated in 1979. Inscribed copies of the hard-bound edition of this book rarely come to market (the 2006 Wright Art + Design auction sold a copy for $15,600 hammer, just to give some idea of value). An attractive very good to near fine copy in brown cloth binding. Gilt lettering bright and unflaked at spine. In a lightly worn dustwrapper with original 30s net price on the front flap. Small closed tear at bottom of the rear panel. SIGNED by Lessing and uncommon thus. A 20th century literary highspot of high caliber.

New York: Harcourt Brace and Co, 1927. First American edition. Cloth. Very Good +/fair. First American edition. 8vo in dustwrapper. 310 pp. A family saga by the author of Mrs. Dalloway and Orlando. Perhaps the author's best known work. "I" on copyright page and publisher's insignia present on the title page. The first American edition in green cloth-covered boards stamped in blue. Generally clean and well-bound. A handsome very good copy of the book. The clipped dustwrapper comes from an early, but not first printing of the dustwrapper. This version has a description of the contents of the book on the front flap whilst the correct first printing dustwrapper has only book reviews on the front flap. The wrapper's condition is chipped and worn about the edges. It has a long diagonal tear near the base of the spine. Wrapper in only fair to good condition.
