This Limited Edition Book was published by Westinghouse to accompany the internment of the Time Capsule which they had prepared to be buried in conjunction with the New York World's Fair of 1939.It gives details for the preparation of the capsule, directions for its recovery, the contents of the capsule, a Key To the English Language so that generations far in the future who are unfamiliar with English may decipher the code to its location, and a guide to seeking metallic substances underground.Being sold with this book is another, a small paperback also published by Westinghouse, titled "The Story of the Time Capsule". This Commemorative Stamp Yearbook from 1999 will make an excellent addition to the collection of the discerning philatelist. The book is in Mint Condition, as are the stamps which are still sealed in the original plastic sleeve in which they were issued. Both the book and he stamps are contained in a slipcase which is in Very Good Condition.

This set of four books was privately printed for members of London's Casanova Society in 1923. The Casanova Society's brief existence lasted from 1922 - 1926, and this was their second publication.This is a Limited Edition. Sets numbered 1 to 750 were of sixteen volumes, and sets numbered 751 to 2250 were of four volumes. The set being offered for sale here is Set #844, complete in four volumes. The set is in good condition with some rubbing at the edges, corners and hinges, and occasional spotting. Each volume is numbered - 844 - which shows a complete original set. Each of the volumes is signed on the title page by Ellsworth Fleming of the Casanova Society, and each is also signed by Fleming again on the following page which describes the publication of the volumes. This set will provide many long evenings of enjoyable reading, and will make a fine addition to your library of classic literature.

Volume Four contains a pocket inside the back cover containing six maps.

Paradise Lost was originally published in the year 1667. Early editions such as the one being offered here are very scarce and valuable. This fifteenth edition from 1738 is completely original inside and out. The leather covers show some scuffing, and the gold decor on both front and back covers is still good. There is a former owner's name on the front endsheet, and a few pages have some edge spots.
