A total of 169 sepia/b&w plates, line drawings and extensive Italian text relating to architectural ironwork from the Neo Classical, Baroque and Renaissance periods. Examples of ironwork covered far ranging including gates, balconies, lights, statues, doorknobs, candlebras, staircases. Green cloth with gilt titling on spine and black and gilt title box on front panel. Bumping and rubbing to corners and head and foot of spine. Carefully repaired split on spine. Tenants of building (as per signs) include: Union Bank of Australia, Alex Brown Colliery, Belgian & US Consulate, New Lambton Colliery Indemnity Fire and Machinery Insurance, Hewison Shipping Insurance & General Commission Agent. According to Newcastle Library records these businesses were located in a bank building in Newcastle, but pictorial records depict a different building. It would seem highly coincidental if these same businesses were located at the same time in nearby East Maitland or Morpeth, but remains a possibility. No other pictorial records can be located..

Australia, 1952. Card Menu (4 sides). Farewell Dinner to Members of the Rowing Section of the Australian Rowing Team at The Hermitage Sydney, Friday May 30, 1952. Given by Members of earlier Crews to have rowed at Henley on Thames. 27 handwritten signatures on Menu, including those of previous Australian Rowing crews. Menu also contains the signatures of 13 members of the Australian Olympic Rowing Team for the Helsinki Games. Notable signatures include Mervyn Wood, who was the flagbearer for Australia at the Games and who also won a Silver medal in the Mens Single Skulls Event. Also, signatures of David Anderson, Philip Cayzer, Ernest Chapman, Thomas Chessel, Mervyn Finlay, Robert Tinning and Geoffrey Williamson who were part of the Bronze medal winning Australian eights.
