Leipzig: Bernard Tauchnitz, 1891. Hardcover. Fine condition.. The Tauchnitz Edition published in 27 volumes over a six year period between the years 1885 -1891. This set is beautifully bound in the publisher's uncommon half tan calf with marbled boards and end papers. Condition is excellent. Occupies 21 inches (53 cm) on the shelf. Height of each volume is 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm). Picture available on request.

Saint Paul, Mn: Northwestern Photo Co, 1880. 1st. Hardcover. Very Good. Quarto. The rare album of photogravures by George W. James and Anson P. Bateman, the proprietors of Northwestern Photo Company published during the 1880's. The photos are of local subjects that include grand houses, churches, street scenes, landscapes and waterfalls. There are 105 photographs on 60 leaves, plus a half-title, title page and eleven pages of text. The book is complete with original end papers. The book was originally bound in half leather with cloth boards. The spine has been restored with cloth and the corners are unrestored and worn. The titling on the front cover is still bright.

Halle: Johann Justinus Gebauer, 1752, 1753. 1st. Hardcover. Very good. Compiled and translated by Johann Friedrich Schröter. The introduction by Baumgarten is first published here and contains footnotes that are a list of books published on the Americas prior to the publication of this work. In original paper boards with titles stamped on leather labels on the spines. Complete with eight maps and sixty one plates, including frontispiece in volume one. Plates are bound into the rear of each volume on blank leaves and pull out of the text block. Each single page plate is folded once into the text block and were designed not to rest against any other printing so that none of the plates have any offsetting and have remained clean and bright. The original twenty-four numbered parts in the original yellow wrappers in publisher's crushed morocco solander case. Illustrated yellow paper covers, with the fourty-eight etched plates and woodcut vignettes in the text, all after drawings by the author; the original yellow pictorial wrappers a little soiled and frayed, otherwise very good condition.

Bound in full brown contemporary calf skillfully rebacked with rules stamped in gilt and with a black leather spine label stamped in gilt. All edges stained red. New York: Knopf, 1985. Fine. Full color promotional poster measuring 21 x 30 inches (53.3 x 76.2 cm.) depicting Her Highness in the Kitchen promoting her six hour video course on cooking. New York: New York World's Fair Incorporated, 1939. Fine Condition in a good box. One of 500 hand numbered copies this one issued to G. Lynn Summer with beautiful full page color lithographs in red, white, blue and black. Spiral bound in red plastic and in the publisher's original blue pebbled cloth with a white paper label stamped in black on the front cover. Sixteen leaves printed on both sides. Book measures 19 X 24.38 inches (48.26 x 61.93 cm.). Given out to potential donors or orgaizers as an invitation to participate. Also signed on the back invitation page by the fair's president Grover Whalen.
