Printed in red and gold with beautiful title-page in gold and blue. In Ottoman Turkish. Curious edition of texts of commercial treaties between Turkey and Hapsburg empire published in oriental stile in Vienna by Kaiserlich-Königliche Hof- und Staatsdruckerei, imperial printshop.

Paris: Firmin Didot, 1823 8vo (20 x 13.2 cm), VIII, 494, [2] pp, half chagrin over marbled boards, original wrappers bound in (little foxing, blind collector stamps on the title and the first page). The catalog of the map collection of the Duke Aleksandr Lobanov-Rostovsky (1788-1866), a Russian general and diplomat. The catalog was written by the Duke himself with the help of Charles Piquet. One of 230 copies privately printed by Firmin Didot.

Fine copy of a study of medieval city-communes by Russian-Italian historian Nikolaj Ottokar (1884 - 1957). Printed by count Samuel Tyszkiewicz (1889 - 1954) at his private press in established in Florence in 1928. Limited to one hundred copies printed with Nicolas Cochin types on the paper made for the press, this is no. 51. At the end a list of books printed at the press. Stamperia Polacca 14.

Manuscript in Cyrillic chancery hand, 21 x 17 cm, 157 ff. Untrimmed in cont. wrappers (wrappers stained and soiled, frayed at extremities). Leaves numbered in pencil in modern hand. A register of incomes and expenses of the Joseph Volokolamsk Monastery near Moscow for the year 1674.

Lwów, 1930 12 drawings from 60 x 72 cm to 73 x 84 cm, including isometric view, elevations and floor plans. Red ink on tracing paper, paper fragile, tears, small parts missing, pencil notes and calculations. Witold Minkiewicz (1880-1961), a Polish architect, professor of the Lwów Polytechnics and Gdańsk University of Technology. His mature style was moderate constructivism. The project was prepared somewhere 1930th when the area around newly built National Museum (opened in 1938) was modernized. The actual building on the plot was finished in 1952 according to a different project.

First edition of a book by German mathematician Felix Hausdorff (1868-1942). The book presents Hausdorff's research on the theory of sets, particularly his work on the development of a formal axiomatic system for set theory. Hausdorff's work on set theory was important in the development of modern mathematics and helped to establish the foundations of the field.
