This Book was written by well-known historian and traveler, Jay Henry Mowbray. He has chronicled much of the early life of Theodore Roosevelt through his second presidency. This is an amazing early work on the former President, and national hero. This Book has page numbers through 365 and the last 50 pages remain un-numbered. This is a rare piece of literature that describes Roosevelt, his accomplishments and his contributions to America and the world. There are several rare photos of Roosevelt as well as illustrations.

Joseph Timothy Haydn (died 17 January 1856), compiler of dictionaries, was well known as the author of the "Dictionary of Dates", 1841 (19th edition, 1889), and of the "Book of Dignities", 1851 (3rd revised edition, 1894). The "Book of Dignities" was a modernised form of Robert Beatson's "Political Index" but omits the lists of holders of many important offices. He also edited Samuel Lewis' "Topographical Dictionaries". His name is used in the "Haydn Series" of dictionaries, which are on the same lines as those compiled by him. A well-preserved copy of a scarce book A Summary of Geography and History, both ancient and modern Alexander Adam (24 June 1741 – 18 December 1809) was a Scottish teacher and writer on Roman antiquities. Alexander Adam was born near Forres, in Moray, the son of a farmer. From his earliest years he showed uncommon diligence and perseverance in classical studies, notwithstanding many difficulties and privations. In 1757 he went to Edinburgh, where he studied at the University of Edinburgh. His reputation as a classical scholar secured him a post as assistant at Watson's Hospital and the headmastership in 1761. In 1764 he became private tutor to Alexander Kincaid, afterwards Lord Provost of Edinburgh, by whose influence he was appointed in 1768 to the rectorship of the High School on the retirement of Mr Matheson, whose substitute he had been for some time before. A very good copy Godolphin is a satirical 19th-century British romance novel by Edward Bulwer-Lytton. It is about the life of an idealistic man, Percy Godolphin, and his eventual lover, Constance Vernon. Written as a frame narrative, Godolphin provides a satirical insight into the day-to-day lives of the early 19th-century British elite. The story is told through the narration of two protagonists, Percy Godolphin and Constance Vernon, as they rise to prominence among the London elite. Godolphin was published two years after The Reform Bill passed which put an end to the exclusive high class in England. Bulwer-Lytton, being a politician, was a member of this British elite.
