London: Trigraph Limited, 1985. Book. Near Fine. Hardcover. 2nd Edition. Brown cloth coverd boards in illustrated dustjacket. The two volumes of the first 1879 edition are combined in one in this edition. The text is reproduced in full, except for a few corrections, and so are all the photographs. The original layout has been revised for convenience. Contributions by Lady Hunt and Ialeen Gibson Cowan. Fronispiece portret of John Thomson. 59 reproductions of photographs with accompanying text by John Thomson. 3 pages with reproductions of engravings. The book is in near fine condition. Corners are sharp, pages are clean and bright. The dustjacket has light edge wear and creasing and 2 small tears to lower spine end (repaired with tape from the inside). xxiii [122 pp.], 32,5 x 25 cm. .
