Description:
1911 Alice in Wonderland Lewis Carroll Fantasy Atwell COLOR Illustrated Classic

"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?"
– Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

Lewis Carroll's landmark masterpiece, 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland,' was first published in 1865. This fascinating fantasy tale of a young girl falling down a rabbit hole, is surely one of the most iconic pieces of literature for all time. It has been adapted into many different versions of film, most notably by Disney in 1951.
A fine undated edition of "Alice in Wonderland", featuring 12 full page color plates by Mabel Lewis Atwell imagining Alice as a girl with red hair!
