Goldstone collection of early Western Fiction. This copy is in Very Good condition with a very good unclipped ($2.00) dustjacket. There is overall moderate age toning with some minor wear to the extremities, rubbing to the cloth boards and some soiling to the page ends--a well read copy--but also tight and square with no compromise to the binding or spine. The rare dustjacket is bright and colorful, missing some of the paper at the heel of the spine--and with light chipping at the head of the spine and a couple of closed end tears. The verso of the dustjacket has a Paramount Picture advertisement of the movie starring J. Warren Kerrigan and Lois Wilson--. Book with faint rubbing to extremities and light age-toning to endpapers, else in fine condition; dust jacket with a few closed tears with associated creases, moderate paper loss, primarily to corners and spine ends, and some soiling to rear panel, else fine.

Light foxing on front free endpapers and title page. Previous owner's attribution stamped on front pastedown. A Western novel about a Mormon woman defending her ranch and the period conflicts between Mormons and Gentiles near the the southern Utah border as written by a classic American writer.

Jacket is rubbed, has some edgewear and minor chipping, a few small (1-2mm) closed tears, and mild fading to spine. Still quite presentable in fresh mylar protector.
