Hodder and Stoughton. London. 1913. LIMITED DELUXE EDITION, SIGNED BY THE ARTIST. One of 1000 numbered copies. 4to.(12.5 x 10.3 inches). 22 mounted colour plates, each with a printed tissue guard. Publishers full vellum binding with elaborate gilt decoration to front board,within double gilt and triple blue ruled borders. Spine lettered and decorated in gilt. Top edge gilt,others untrimmed. As often with these deluxe editions the silk ties are missing from the boards. Overall a very good copy of this highly decorative and beautiful book.

London: Simpkin and Marshal et al., 1834. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine in a Fine slipcase. Original brown cloth, recently rebacked retaining nearly all of the original spine; spine label mostly lacking. A Presentation copy INSCRIBED by the author on the front blank: "To/William Wordsworth Esq./with the author's/compliments." In addition this copy is SIGNED by the recipient on the title page: "W Wordsworth/Rydal Mount." In this volume, and in a second that was issued the following year, Ord attempted a history of England in verse. His efforts were not well received. One reviewer in THE GENTLEMAN'S MAGAZINE claimed "that the author has formed his manner and style too much on that of Lord Byron in exaggeration, impetuosity, and a perpetual straining for effect." A scarce book from Wordsworth's library. Old bookseller description laid in. Housed in a new calf-backed slipcase with cloth chemise.

Aldrin was the second man to walk on the Moon and in this memoir he tells the story of America's race with the Russians to the moon as seen from inside NASA.

Tokyo: Watari-Um, 1992. Signed by Artist Gary Hill on the title page. First edition / First printing. White paper-covered spine, charcoal paper-covered boards decorated in red with white text. Fine. Issued without dust jacket, a clear archival jacket is supplied.

Amsterdam: Anthos, 1998. Signed first edition of rare English language Dutch edition of Irving's novel. The true first edition of Irving's novel, preceding the release of the US and UK editions. SIGNED presentation from Irving to motorcycle legend Cook Neilson, who took the photo of Irving that was used for the dust jacket of the book: "For Stepp and Cook - with my appreciation and affection - John Irving, April 1, 1998." Together with AUTOGRAPH LETTER SIGNED by Irving on his stationery to Neilson laid in, in which Irving says that Neilson's photos will also be used on the UK edition, and jokes that another photo, to be used for the American and Canadian editions is more flattering, because it doesn't show Irving's face. Closes with mention of a nearby school in Vermont. Neilson was a preeminent motorcycle journalist and editor of Cycle Magazine. Illustrated frontis of medieval poet Charles, Duke of Orleans [1394-1465], who, taken prisoner after the Battle of Agincourt in 1415. Many of his poems were written during his long captivity over a 25 year period. He wrote courtly and romantic poems set in ballad and rondeau forms.
