In red cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine (spine tips gently rounded). Gift inscription on front free endpaper, and perhaps a hint of toning at page edges, else internally neat, clean and tight. In its original dust jacket (very gently bumped at spine base, not price clipped).

Synopsis

An Equal Music (1999) is a novel by Vikram Seth about a professional violinist named Michael. 10 years after an affair with a pianist, she and Michael meet again. Although she is married with a child, she goes with Michael and his quartet to Vienna and they resume their affair.
