BYE BYE BLACKBIRD & IN A LITTLE SPANISH TOWN

Bye Bye Blackbird is a jazz standard written in 1926 by Mort Dickson & Ray Henderson. It was first recorded by Sam Lanin's Dance Orchestra in March 1926, then was used in countless musical reviews. Its two main Broadway productions are Liza with a Z, and Fosse.

Bye Bye Blackbird is now one of the most recognizable of American songs, having been made famous by everyone from Dean Martin to Willie Nelson, Rosemary Clooney to the Beatles, plus Miles Davis and John Coltrane.

This copy is in very good condition. There is ancient tape on the edge—it's falling off anyway, but a restorer can remove it properly.

Oddly, the covers are in a glossy stock but page 3/4 is in a different, inferior stock. That page also has a 2" tear—I have left it as is.

It has quite a lot of wear but a printer can improve the flaws on the cover and it would be great in a frame.

The back cover is missing, which means the last page of music is as well--you'd have to find it online.
