Most of the recipes are for four or more people. Very little of the ethnocentricism that often pervades books of this era. ( 1950s ) some grubbiness of the brown cloth over the boards, top edge pale lemon colour, trace of foxing to the front edge of the text block. Internally clean, free of annotation.
