About This Item

Reilly & Lee Co., 1918. Reprint . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. Neill, John R.. The 12th book in the original Oz series written by Baum & illustrated by John Neill. Orig. published in 1918, this a later printing (date unknown) that retains the frontispiece & all of the internal illustrations throughout the 288 pages, now rendered in pen-and-ink instead of the original color. In addition, this is an Ex-Lib copy, in a reinforced library binding with green patterned cloth & white lettering to spine. Condition downgraded to just Good: usual library stamps, card pocket, & markings in front matter & outside page edges & soil/discoloration to same edges from handling by previous readers.
