Quarto, [unpaginated]. Blue cloth boards, title stamped in black print. Second issue, without reference to "Oberly & Newell Lithograph" on copyright page and blue cloth boards. Touch of wear to tips, solid text block, a near fine example. In the publisher's second state dust jacket, price-clipped, short closed tear along top edge of front panel, bright illustrations, solid blue background. (Younger & Hirsch, 77) An attractive example of a scarce title from Dr. Seuss.
