Farrar Straus & Giroux, 1969; stated Second Printing, no later printings indicated; 232pp. Minimal ex-library signs--front end page has been neatly removed, top corner of second front end page clipped, evidence of plate removal on front paste-downs, two razor blade cuts on front paste-down, library stamp on copyright page, small stamp and marker line on top edge of page block. Binding is sturdy and fully intact; first page gathering has loosened somewhat but remains fully sewn in; minor wear to edges of black cloth boards, gilt titling remains bright and bold; text also very good. Light wear to edges of unclipped ($5.50) dust jacket, some fraying over spine ends; light toning over spine; jacket arrives wrapped in protective mylar.
