Book Fairs

Get ready for Rare Books LAX 2022!

RARE BOOKS LAX takes off October 14-16, 2022, at The Proud Bird, just minutes from LAX at 11022 Aviation Blvd, Los Angeles, California 90045

Sponsored by Biblio, RBLAX brings rare booksellers from throughout the world together to share their love of books, fine prints, maps, ephemera, and more.

In conjunction with Rare Books LAX, the 47th Annual American Printing History Association (APHA) conference will also be held at The Proud Bird. The organization encourages the study of the history of printing and related arts and crafts, including calligraphy, typefounding, typography, papermaking, bookbinding, illustration, and publishing.

The International Printing Museum (Carson, California) is the Rare Books LAX cultural partner. Proceeds from the $25 opening night tickets benefit the non-profit, which is devoted to bringing the history of printing and books to life.

Beginning October 7 and running through October 16, those not able to attend the in-person fairs will be able to show up virtually on Biblio.live.

Find your favorite booksellers and browse their virtual booth, and get to know a few new ones as well! Shoppers can register by October 5th to be issued USD $10 in BiblioBucks to spend at the fair.
