FIRST EDITION, FIRST Printing with the Correct Printers Key - 001. In black cloth-covered boards, with the spine lettered in metallic copper, black endpapers, a very slight 'pushing' to the head/tail of the spine from storage, but NO damage - negligible. Page fore-edges nice and uniformly white. Overall a fine copy in a similar unclipped dust-jacket. The d/j is now in a new protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover and looks As New. Sadly this master of the spy novel and international best-seller author died in December 2020. See Images. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 288 pages .
