Frank Kleinholz (1901-1987), American Modernist Painter and Printmaker was an artist, whose work spanned several art movements including Expressionism and Social Realism. Yasuo Kuniyoshi and Sol Wilson Pupil, Friend of Philip Evergood, Alfred Stieglitz, Raphael and Moses Soyer. His early works were intensely personal and influenced by Depression and the World Wars. His palette lightened when focused on families and the bonds between adults and children.
