39" x 24". Pin holes to corners, repaired tears to left of main image, laminated, in fair condition only.
Iconic image published after the Second World War promoting peace with doves flying along the French monuments of Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe . Colin studied art at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Nancy, France. His style was highly influenced by the cubist and surrealist movement of the time and epitomized the Art Deco era. Colin designed posters for the Folies Bergères, the Moulin Rouge and for the French cinema.went on to open a graphic arts school of his own in 1930.
